Stamping out fires is a lot of fun, but it is only putting things back the way they were.

Many people get a great deal of pleasure fighting fires, dominating nature. Some even behave like fires are so natural that preventing them is wrong.  A wise person will prevent the fires they can predict in order to ensure they have the energy to fight the ones they cannot. This means they have the time to ensure when the fire is done, the organisation is a different place and they fire will not happen again.
